At least 16 people have been killed in a landslide in the Indus River in Pakistan

According to media reports, Van Chilas was on his way to Rawalpindi from the city. But at one point in the Paniba area of ​​Kohistan district, the driver lost control. Due to which the van fell into the river Indus.

A private van was rented by a family

The private van was taken by a family, according to police. There were 17 people in it, including the driver. The van fell into the river and sank. The crash killed 17 people. According to reports, 16 members of the same family, including the woman and children, were in the van except the driver. The van driver was also killed in the tragic accident.

Professional divers called for rescue
