NASA will try to land two American astronauts on the moon in a spacecraft built by Alan Musk’s company SpaceX.
New Delhi. NASA has signed a 2. 2.9 billion (approximately Rs 21,600 crore) deal with Alan Musk’s company SpaceX. Under the agreement, Elon Musk’s company will build a spacecraft to take humans to the moon by 2024. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’s company Blue Blue Argin and defense contractor were also in a race to get orders from NASA to build the astronauts, but they were not successful.

The agreement will try to land two American astronauts on the moon as part of NASA’s ambitious Artemis mission. This will be the world’s first commercial human spaceflight. According to agency officials, the effort will be taken forward as soon as possible. If successful, the agency will focus on completing its plan by 2024. Let me tell you that before 1972, the last time a human reached the surface of the moon.

This spacecraft will have a large cabin and two airclocks. The biggest advantage of this vehicle will be that it will be reusable, meaning that the craft will not only be used once but can also be used to travel to other planets, satellites, including the Moon and Mars.
While Elon Musk will work on the entire project for the SpaceX contract, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman & Draper, partnered with Amazon founder Billy Orig Argin. After receiving the contract from NASA, Alan Musk tweeted, “NASA rules !!”
