The big renovation of The Goose grocery store in Langley is wrapping up this week.
Today, July 9, parking spots were being relined and everything but a little electrical work was completed on the interior, according to Store Director Charlie McKissick.
The parking lot, which is being redone through the Goosefoot Community Fund, should be complete by the end of the week, McKissick said.
Renovations include a new, more open produce department, new hardwood floors and new ceiling paint.
“Between (the ceiling paint) and new floors, it really brightens the place up,” McKissick said.
The reorganized wine section will allow for an expanded wine and spirits selection moving forward. The store is still working on expanding its bulk foods section.
A phone call to the Goosefoot Community Fund was not returned by posting.
