There is a new restaurant to choose from in Oak Harbor when trying to please your palette.

Riverside Café opened its doors at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28 at 705 SE Pioneer Way, in the spot previously occupied by Valle Azul in downtown Oak Harbor. Workers spent time on finishing touches before the restaurant opened its doors to the public.

Owner Cali Cibrian may be a familiar face to many, as he was a former co-owner of Esteban’s restaurant in Oak Harbor. He opened Riverside Café in Mount Vernon in 2010.

The family restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering traditional American cuisine.
